The Warranty Manager is both a proactive & reactive role, collaborating closely with project teams and the quality team to establish schedules while overseeing the quality process for multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal Warranty Manager is a sharp, curious, problem-solver and an excellent communicator. The Warranty Manager serves as a resource to the project team in the areas of project delivery, constructability, workflow and sequencing, proper installation techniques, turnover & reactive troubleshooting.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Assist Project Teams: Reviews Construction Documents, Specifications, Shop Drawings, and Submittals with the intent to identify challenges and opportunities.
  • Assist in Preconstruction: Conducts design reviews of future jobs to identify risks and incorporate lessons learned and best practices before construction starts.
  • Conduct Quality Site Visits: Reviews and documents work in the field. Photographs and discusses work in place with the project team. Writes reports for each site visit, providing directions and suggestions to correct improper work-in-place & distributes in a timely manner
  • Quality Plan Development: Assist in the development of new procedures based on lessons learned and system failures to proactively mitigate quality risks
  • Expertise: The Quality Manager will have a general understanding of all construction elements but will develop focused expertise in building enclosure, concrete, metal stud framing and drywall, flooring, and life safety systems. This includes extensive knowledge of construction details

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5+ years facilities management or building maintenance experience for a large entertainment venue or multi-location restaurant/hospitality management company required.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and two years of documentable HVAC or Electrical journeyman level operating, maintenance and repair experience in the HVAC and refrigeration or Electrical trades.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and/or technical installation manuals required
  • Expert in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong results/goal orientation
  • Proven ability to lead teams, build trust, and empower people
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) requiredExposure to Procore or other project management software preferred
